Testing Results

All Source Research products are tested by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited labs for purity (HPLC), heavy metals (ICP-MS), sterility (PCR), and endotoxins (USP <85>). Every batch is published here.

What our lab reports actually cover

A high purity number on a COA is a good start, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. Here’s what each test on our independent reports checks, and what it doesn’t.

  • Purity (HPLC). Measures how much of the sample is the target peptide relative to other peptide-related material. On its own it doesn’t detect metals, microbes, endotoxins, or contaminants that don’t show up on the chromatogram, which is why we don’t stop at purity.
  • Net peptide content. How many milligrams of peptide are actually in the vial, compared with the labeled amount.
  • Identity (HPLC retention time). Confirms the vial contains the labeled compound by matching it against a reference standard.
  • Heavy metals (ICP-MS). Screens for arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, and chromium.
  • Sterility (PCR). A molecular screen for bacterial contamination, reported as “No Growth” when it passes. It’s a fast screen, not the full compendial (USP <71>) sterility test, and we’d rather tell you that than overstate it.
  • Endotoxins (USP <85>). Reported as a measured value in EU/mL rather than pass/fail, since acceptable limits depend on the application.
  • Fentanyl screen. An immunoassay check with a 50 ng/mL cutoff.

Every lot is tested by an independent US lab. We pull one vial at random from each lot, photograph that exact vial, and publish the full report next to the supplier’s origin COA. If a lot fails, we don’t sell it.
